Our class has been learning about Native American culture, and the impact the environment the tribe lived in had on their culture and customs. Students were tasked with designing an artifact that made sense in their assigned environment.

Our projects connected directly to the problem solving portion of our portrait of a learner. Our students had to think critically about what they could use in their environment, and how to make sense of the things they were provided. They came up with some truly creative solutions! Here are some examples of students who went above and beyond to bring their designs to life!
